Minerals for Collectors – Over 2,400 Pieces with Locality Information

For collectors, it's not just about how a stone looks, but where it comes from. That's why for every piece in this collection you'll find the country and locality of origin – from apophyllite from Poona to fluorite from the Marienschacht near Wölsendorf. Whether you're just starting out or have been collecting for years: here you'll find both common stone types and pieces that are rarely offered.

How to Find Your Way Around Our Assortment

The tiles above take you directly to the most popular stone types and to all countries of origin. If you're searching for something specific, these overviews will help you:

Popular Stone Types in This Collection

  • Amethyst – purple quartz, from light lavender to deep purple
  • Rock Crystal – clear quartz, often with inclusions that show its formation
  • Rose Quartz – soft pink, mostly massive, more rarely in crystal form
  • Citrine – yellow to honey-colored; we indicate whether untreated or heat-treated
  • Lapis Lazuli – deep blue with pyrite inclusions
  • Black Tourmaline (Schorl) – columnar, longitudinally striated crystals

You'll find the complete list under Stone Types A–Z.

What Collectors Buy Minerals For

  • Collection – organized by stone type, locality, or crystal system
  • Decoration – naturally grown shapes as an eye-catcher on a shelf or desk
  • Meditation and Feng Shui – stones with a fixed place in the room or in your hand
  • Gift – with locality information, the stone becomes a story

Please note that the effects of gemstones and minerals are not scientifically proven and should therefore not be regarded as a substitute for medical treatment or therapy. These are traditions and beliefs that everyone can interpret and apply for themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the minerals come from?

For every item, the country and locality of origin are stated, as far as they have been verified for us by the supplier. Common countries of origin are India, Pakistan, Brazil, Madagascar, Indonesia, and the DR Congo – an overview is provided by the Locality World Map.

Will I receive exactly the pictured piece?

This is stated for every item. For one-of-a-kind pieces, you'll see exactly the photographed specimen with its measured weight. For items that are in stock multiple times, the note "Mystery item (may vary)" is shown – in that case you'll receive a comparable piece that may vary in size and pattern. Natural products are never identical.

Can I view the stones before buying?

Yes. In our showroom in Feldkirchen near Munich you can hold the pieces in your hand – weight, surface, and the play of light are, after all, hard to judge from photos.

I'm looking for a specific stone type – how do I find it?

Via Stone Types A–Z you can go directly to the respective collection. Within a stone type, you can additionally filter by shape, such as specimen, sphere, or point.

Do you also carry healing stones?

Yes, in the crystalpower® collection, the stones are sorted by traditional meaning. The Healing Stone Finder helps you choose.
