Yes – if you choose the right method and suitable stones. With the indirect method, the stone doesn't come into contact with the water at all. This is the safest option. When in doubt: inform yourself before use or use the indirect method.

How long does the stone need to sit in the water?

At least 4 hours is recommended. Many prepare their gemstone water overnight – so about 8 hours. Longer exposure over 12 hours is harmless with the indirect method, but offers no proven additional benefit.

Can I use any gemstone for gemstone water?
