Our First Goods Received – What a New Mineral Delivery Means at Crystal Paradise

crystalpower® Healing Stones Own Brand – polished crystal bracelets and gemstone bottles in natural colors

A new mineral delivery at Crystal Paradise is far more than just restocking inventory. It's a moment of genuine anticipation – for us as a team and for everyone who appreciates hand-picked natural unique items. Each delivery brings pieces that have grown in the earth over millions of years. We open every new shipment with the same curious eyes as on the first day. In this article, we'll show you how our first mineral delivery process works, which regions of origin we prefer, and what we pay attention to during quality control.

What Happens During Our First Mineral Delivery?

Every new incoming shipment begins long before the actual unpacking. We work exclusively with verified suppliers. Our contacts range from South America to Central Asia and Europe. This is important to us: origin and authenticity are paramount at Crystal Paradise.

From our own experience, we know that careful pre-selection from the supplier makes all the difference. Ordering blindly risks treated or fake pieces. That's why we rely on personal relationships with dealers and mine operators that we have built up over years of collaboration.

The Process in Detail

  1. Order and Communication: We discuss exactly which minerals, specimens, or raw pieces we are looking for in advance. Photos and dimensions are exchanged.
  2. Shipping and Customs: Depending on the country of origin, transport takes between 5 and 21 days. Customs documents are carefully checked.
  3. Goods Receipt and Incoming Inspection: Each piece is individually examined. We check for damage, authenticity, and quality.
  4. Photography and Integration: Each unique item receives its own photo and description in the shop.
  5. Activation in the Online Shop: New pieces go online as quickly as possible – so you can be the first to get them.

Where Do Our Mineral Deliveries Come From?

Our mineral deliveries include pieces from the most important discovery regions in the world. Each region has its own geological history. This creates the diversity of our assortment.

South America – Colorful Classics

Brazil is one of the most important supplier countries worldwide. There, amethyst geodes, citrine, and tourmalines are formed under extreme pressure and at temperatures of up to 400 °C deep within the earth. Brazilian amethyst reaches Mohs hardness levels of 7 – making it particularly robust. Bolivia provides us with spectacular Bolivianite pieces, also known as Ametrine, with unique color gradients from violet to yellow. Discover our minerals from Brazil and minerals from Bolivia directly in the shop.

Central Asia – Rarities from Afghanistan

Afghanistan is considered a treasure trove by mineral collectors. The deposits in the Hindu Kush mountains are located at altitudes of over 3,000 meters. There, extraordinary kunzites, tourmalines, and aquamarines are formed. The crystals grow there over periods of sometimes 500 million years. Take a look at our minerals from Afghanistan – it's worth it.

Europe – Quality on Our Doorstep

European discovery sites also play a role. Bulgaria supplies impressive pyrite specimens and calcite formations. Switzerland is famous for rock crystals and smoky quartz from the Alps. We recommend not underestimating European minerals – the quality is often exceptionally high.

Quality Control: How We Inspect Every Stone

In our showroom in Feldkirchen near Munich, we personally inspect every piece before putting it online. We place great importance on the following criteria:

  • Authenticity: No synthetic substitutes, no glass imitations, no artificial colorings without clear labeling.
  • Integrity: Natural inclusions and growth characteristics are desirable – they prove authenticity.
  • Aesthetics: Pieces must be photographically and haptically appealing. We only select what convinces us ourselves.
  • Proof of Origin: As far as possible, we transparently document the discovery site and supplier.
  • Packaging Condition: Damaged pieces due to improper transport are claimed or sorted out.

This process takes between 2 and 5 working days, depending on the scope of the delivery. Only then do the pieces go online.

Minerals from All Over the World – Our Global Network

Crystal Paradise sources minerals from more than 20 countries. Each country of origin stands for specific mineral types and geological features. This global diversity is our promise to you: you will find genuine natural unique items with us – not mass-produced goods from an unknown source.

According to data from the Mindat.org mineral database, over 5,900 recognized mineral species are known worldwide. A small but fine part of these finds its way to you – through our carefully curated deliveries.

The International Mineral Show in Munich – one of the largest mineral exchanges in Europe with over 50,000 visitors annually – is an important anchor point for us throughout the year. There, we make contacts, discover new things, and secure special pieces for our customers. You can find out more in our article Mineral Show: What Should You Bring as a Visitor?

The International Mineralogical Association (IMA) sets internationally binding standards for the classification and naming of minerals. We adhere to these standards – for maximum transparency and seriousness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Colorful Mineral Selection for Beginners – raw and polished stones at a glance

How often does a new mineral delivery arrive at Crystal Paradise?

We receive new deliveries throughout the year. There is no fixed monthly rhythm, as we purchase opportunistically and quality-oriented. On average, new pieces go online every 2 to 4 weeks. Our newsletter always informs you first.

Can I reserve a specific stone for the next delivery?

Yes, that is possible. Simply send us a message with your request. We will note your request and contact you as soon as we receive a suitable piece in a new mineral delivery. We recommend that you specify the country of origin, mineral type, and approximate size or price range.

Are all minerals in your delivery untreated?

We generally label whether a stone is treated or not. Raw pieces are always declared as such. Some polished varieties or aura minerals are refined pieces – we communicate this transparently in the product description. Our Aura Minerals, for example, are galvanically vapor-deposited crystals with a special color effect.

How long does shipping take after the goods are received?

After the internal quality check and integration into the shop – which usually takes 2 to 5 working days – we ship within 1 to 3 working days. For Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the delivery time is usually 2 to 5 working days after dispatch.

Can I also view new incoming goods in the showroom?

Absolutely. In our showroom in Feldkirchen near Munich, you can experience many of our new pieces on site. The haptic experience – holding a stone in your hand – is something no photo can fully replace. We will be happy to advise you personally there.
