    The Pyrite , also called Sulfur pyrites or Iron pyrite known, is a very common mineral from the class of Sulphides and sulfosalts . Pyrite is also known as “fool’s gold” or “iron sulfide”.

    Chemically speaking, it is the cubic modification of Iron(II) disulfide (FeS ) and therefore consists of iron and sulfur in a molar ratio of 1:2. Pyrite comes in every form opaque (opaque) and predominantly developed idiomorphic crystals in the form of Roll the dice or Pentagon dodecahedrons . Also octahedron and Disdodecahedron are common, as are combinations between these forms.
