Gemstones 360° View – Experience Online Shopping Anew at Crystal Paradise

Sternzeichen Edelsteine

The Gemstones 360° View at Crystal Paradise allows you to fully examine every stone from all perspectives – directly in your browser, without leaving the shop. No photo in the world shows a crystal as honestly as an interactive 360° rotating view. That was precisely our goal: to create an online shopping experience that comes as close as possible to visiting our showroom in Feldkirchen near Munich. Because we know from years of experience – every stone is unique, and every unique piece deserves a fair, complete presentation.

Why the Gemstones 360° View Changes Everything

Online shopping has always been associated with a little uncertainty. What does the stone really look like? Is the color authentic? Are there inclusions not visible in the photos? We are very familiar with these questions – and they motivated us.

With our new 360° technology, you get answers before you buy. You virtually rotate the stone in all directions. You see the surface, the transparency, the natural veining. You can tell if an amethyst shimmers deep violet or is a delicate lavender color. You make an informed decision.

What the 360° Technology Achieves Technically

Our product photos are created using professional 360° capture systems. Each stone is photographed on a rotating plate – typically with 36 to 72 individual shots per product. This corresponds to one image every 5 to 10 degrees. The result is a fluid, interactive rotating view directly on the product page.

You don't need an app. You don't need special software. A modern browser is sufficient. The view works on both desktop and smartphone.

Which Stones You Can Already Discover in 360°

Currently, our 360° gallery already includes over 900 products. These include:

  • Raw minerals and crystal specimens
  • Tumbled stones and polished freeforms
  • Spheres of rose quartz, obsidian, and labradorite
  • Faceted and cut gemstones
  • Pendulum pendants and jewelry
  • Water stones and CRYSTALPOWER® products

And we are growing daily. Our team continuously photographs new pieces. The goal: to equip every single product in our shop with a 360° view.

Buying Gemstones with 360° View – How You Specifically Benefit

We recommend that all our customers actively use the 360° function before making a purchase decision. A closer look is particularly worthwhile for unique pieces.

Benefits for Beginners

Those new to the world of minerals and healing stones often only know product photos from unfavorable angles. The 360° view shows a stone as it really is. This creates trust and significantly facilitates the initial purchase decision.

You immediately know:

  1. How large the stone appears in proportion
  2. Its surface texture – raw, polished, or faceted
  3. Whether natural inclusions are visible
  4. How the light plays on the stone

Benefits for Experienced Collectors

Those who have been collecting for a long time know: details matter. A fine crack in the crystal structure, an unusual inclusion, a special color zone – all of this was previously only discernible through direct contact. With our 360° view, you can now assess these details online.

This is particularly relevant for high-value pieces. A large labradorite freeform or an exceptional amethyst geode deserves more than a single product photo. It deserves a complete visual presentation – and that is exactly what we offer.

Browse our faceted and cut stones – many of them already with a complete 360° view.

The Story Behind Our Decision for 360°

Crystal Paradise was founded as a family business. We love stones. We travel to mineral fairs, personally select pieces, and know the origin of our products. In our showroom in Feldkirchen near Munich, customers can touch stones, hold them up to the light, and feel them.

But not everyone can come to us. Not everyone lives near Munich. Not everyone has time for a showroom visit. So we asked ourselves: How do we bring this experience to the online shop?

The answer was clear: with the best visual technology available. 360° product photography is now the gold standard in high-quality natural products. We invested in professional equipment and spent several months photographing our inventory step by step.

The result is now visible in the shop.

360° View and Stone Selection – What You Should Consider

Even though 360° technology is impressive – a few points remain important when buying minerals online.

  • Monitors vary: Colors may appear slightly different depending on the screen. A warm screen shows an amethyst as redder; a cool screen shows it as bluer. This is technically inherent and not a flaw in our photos.
  • Note size specifications: We provide measurements in millimeters or centimeters for each product. Use this information to properly assess the stone.
  • Uniques remain uniques: Every stone is a natural product. For unique items, you always receive exactly the piece you saw in the 360° view.
  • Free returns: If a stone doesn't fit, we offer free returns. Without risk.

Which Stones Are Particularly Worthwhile – Discovered in 360°

Some stones reveal their true character only in the rotating view. Here are some examples from our assortment:

Amethyst

Amethyst is one of the best-known varieties of the quartz mineral with the chemical formula SiO₂. Its violet color is caused by iron inclusions and natural radiation in the Earth's interior – over millions of years. Its Mohs hardness is 7. In the 360° view, you immediately recognize how deep and even the violet is. Especially for geodes and specimens, a complete view of the crystal tips is worthwhile. Mineralogically sound information on amethyst can also be found in the Mindat database for amethyst, one of the world's leading mineral information sources.

Rock Crystal

Pure quartz with a Mohs hardness of 7 and a density of approx. 2.65 g/cm³. Rock crystal is considered a classic collector's crystal. In the 360° view, it shows its fascinating play of light – from complete transparency to misty inclusions that give it depth. Further mineralogical background information on quartz and its varieties is provided by the Mineralienatlas database, an established German-language source for mineral enthusiasts.

Labradorite

Labradorite belongs to the feldspar group. It is known for its so-called labradorescence – a spectral color shimmer in blue, green, gold, and sometimes violet. This effect is often lost in normal product photos. In the 360° view, you can see how the stone lights up when rotated. That is an experience in itself.

Rose Quartz

Rose quartz displays its delicate pink shimmer best in direct light. The 360° rotation shows you how evenly the color is distributed and whether the stone appears clearer or milky-opaque – an important criterion for many buyers.

In crystal healing, rose quartz is traditionally associated with heart energy and emotional warmth. This tradition has no scientific basis but has accompanied the stone for centuries. Feel free to browse our collection For Lovers – Gemstones for Love, Relationships, and Emotional Connection.

360° View as Part of Our Quality Promise

Transparency is more important to us as a family business than anything else. We show our stones as they are. Without filters. Without image editing that distorts colors. Without tricks.

The 360° view is not a marketing gimmick for us. It is an expression of our attitude: You should buy what you see. And you should see what you buy.

This applies to simple tumbled stones as well as rare collector's items. It applies to our Bestselling Healing Stones as well as new additions to the assortment. In our shop, we work daily to achieve this standard for all products – with the same commitment that we also live in our showroom.
