Crystal Paradise focuses on transparency: We specify the region of origin for our stones. We provide information about treatments, if they have been carried out. 1. Origin: Reputable dealers specify the country of origin or discovery region.
2. Disclosure of treatments: Many blue topazes are irradiated, many agates are dyed. This is allowed – but must be communicated.
3. Mohs hardness as a guide: Rock crystal (quartz) has a hardness of 7, calcite only 3. This affects care and use.
4. Price-quality ratio: Exceptionally low prices are often a warning sign – especially for tourmaline, alexandrite, or Paraiba.

Spiritual Significance of Fair Stones – Tradition Meets Geology

Did you find something beautiful at the Rosenheim Crystal Fair? Then you surely want to know how to properly care for your new companions.

• Cleaning: Many stones can be rinsed under lukewarm water. Exceptions are calcite, selenite, and malachite – these are sensitive to water.
• Charging: Moonlight or sunlight (max. 2 hours) are suitable for most quartz. Amethyst can fade with too much sun.
• Storage: Stones with different hardnesses (e.g., calcite and quartz) should never be stored together without protection.
• Energetic cleansing: Singing bowls, smoke, or earth are traditionally used – without scientific backing, but with a long cultural tradition.
